keep the earth below my feet

So on Tuesday I chose the colours we’re painting my room and the furniture for my room. It’s going to have one feature wall done in a light yellow, the other walls will be a cream colour and the furniture will be white. They all have such pretty names! The yellow for the feature wall is called “Viola Music”, the light yellow/cream is “Summer Dream” and the off-white we’re painting the furniture with is called “Ocean Pearl”.

Today I finished completely cleaning out my room, there isn’t anything in the wardrobes or in my desk drawers or on my bookshelves. I threw out loads of things and put the rest in bags to take to my primary school for them to sell at their country fair. Stuffed toys and little sets of animal figures and dolls, things that I’ve had for a long time but aren’t broken and are in good condition. Tomorrow we’re moving out all the furniture to start painting! I’m so excited.
